Waste Management Division

Services:-

1. All establishment work of the employees dealing with garbage management
2. Reporting on public complaints and taking action on them
3. Implementation of garbage recycling programs
4. Performing sewerage activities
5. Town cleaning activities
6. Removal of garbage and clean the grounds

Procedure followed in providing services:-

1. Note down the complaints received to the Telephone No: 091 2234593 and attend to them
2. Sort out the collected garbage and use them for recycling
3. Collecting night soil from the houses and remove them to Hikkaduwa sewerage system. (Relevant charges will be levied for this)
4. Removal of town garbage daily according to a time table
